RADIOIL

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This policy covers the current RadioIL app and its support website. For privacy questions or to request deletion of a support conversation, contact support@autoil.app.

1. Data stored on your device

No account is required to use RadioIL. Favorites and their order, up to eight recently played stations, appearance and playback preferences, and your music-service choice are stored locally on your device.

The app also stores the first-launch date, launch count, and the version associated with a review request to time the native iOS review prompt. The current version has no RadioIL account server or data-sync service operated by us.

2. Connections to broadcasters and other services

To play a station, RadioIL connects to the station's streaming servers and delivery networks. On supported stations, it also requests program and song information from the broadcaster's website or API.

These requests share technical information needed for the connection, such as an IP address, request time, and client or device information that may accompany the request. Broadcasters and delivery providers may process and retain this information under their own policies. Internet radio cannot work without connecting to a stream provider.

Opening a song in Apple Music, Spotify, or YouTube sends the song search to your chosen service. That service's privacy policy applies. RadioIL does not receive your passwords or payment details for those services.

3. Audio, rewind, and the player visualization

Audio may be held in a bounded temporary playback buffer for listening and rewind. Older audio leaves the buffer as it advances. RadioIL does not offer permanent recording or audio export.

On supported stations, the wave visualization is calculated on your device from the station audio. RadioIL does not activate your microphone for this and does not send recordings of your surroundings to a song-recognition service.

4. Diagnostics and tracking

The current app has no third-party advertising or analytics SDK and no cross-app advertising tracking system. We do not sell personal data.

The app writes technical messages, such as playback events and network errors, to the device's system logs. It has no service operated by us that automatically uploads those logs. Sharing iOS diagnostics with Apple depends on your system settings.

5. Contacting support

If you email us, we receive your sender address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond to your request and investigate problems.

We retain support messages for as long as needed to handle the matter and meet relevant legal requirements. You can request access, correction, or deletion at support@autoil.app. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

6. This support website

Our pages do not add analytics tools, ads, data-collection forms, application cookies, or fonts from an external service. The language control links to another page and does not store a language cookie.

The website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process connection data and technical logs, including IP addresses and page requests, to deliver, secure, and operate the website under their own policies. We do not set a retention period here for logs controlled by those providers.

The hosting provider may use technical cookies for security and automated-traffic detection, such as Cloudflare's __cf_bm cookie. These are separate from advertising cookies, which our pages do not add.

7. Your controls and data retention

You can remove favorites and clear recent stations in the app. Resetting Settings resets preferences; it does not necessarily delete every other type of local data. Uninstalling removes the app's local data from your device. iOS or iCloud backups and restoration follow Apple's policies and your settings.

Requests about information held by a broadcaster or music service should go to that provider. You can contact us about information sent directly to support. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to you.

8. Updates and contact

If we introduce a backend, accounts, or new data processing, we will update this policy before the relevant change and seek consent where required. The update date appears at the top of this page.

For privacy questions or personal-data requests, email support@autoil.app. External services may operate in different countries depending on their infrastructure and policies.

Children

The app does not ask children to provide personal information. If a child's information is included in a support request, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion.
